Terms of Service

By accessing or using Mechatronics With Pie (“the Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. By registering, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@mechatronicswithpie.com if you suspect unauthorized access.

Course materials — including videos, schematics, code, documentation, and lab guides — are protected by copyright and provided for your personal, non-commercial learning use only. You may not:

• Share, redistribute, or resell course content
• Record, download, or mirror video lessons without permission
• Use content to create competing educational products
• Remove copyright notices or attribution

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access enrolled courses for the duration of your account.

Course prices are displayed at checkout in USD or local currency where supported. Payment is processed through Stripe (international) or Paystack (Africa). All fees are due at the time of purchase unless otherwise stated for enterprise agreements.

We reserve the right to change pricing for future purchases. Price changes do not affect courses you have already purchased. See our Refund Policy for details on refunds.

Certificates of completion are issued when you meet the course requirements defined in the curriculum. Certificates verify completion of our coursework but do not constitute professional licensure, accreditation, or formal academic credit unless explicitly stated.

Some courses reference optional hardware kits or components. You are responsible for sourcing compatible equipment and following safety guidelines. Mechatronics With Pie is not liable for injury, property damage, or equipment failure resulting from lab work. Always follow manufacturer datasheets and local electrical safety regulations.

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems, accounts, or content
• Upload malware, spam, or harmful code
• Harass, abuse, or impersonate other users or staff
• Scrape or automate access in ways that degrade service for others

The Mechatronics With Pie name, logo, brand assets, and original curriculum are our intellectual property. User-submitted content (such as forum posts or project submissions, where applicable) remains yours, but you grant us a license to display and use it within the Platform for educational purposes.

The Platform and all content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free content, or specific career or employment outcomes. Engineering projects carry inherent risk — apply judgment and verify designs before deploying in production environments.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mechatronics With Pie shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time by contacting support. Upon termination, your access to enrolled courses may be revoked, subject to applicable refund rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Accra, Ghana, unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

We may modify these terms at any time. We will post updates on this page. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice where practicable. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
