1. Overview
Mechatronics With Pie offers a satisfaction guarantee on individual course purchases. If a course does not meet your expectations, you may be eligible for a refund within the window described below, provided you have not substantially consumed the course content.
2. 14-day refund window
You may request a full refund within 14 days of your purchase date if:
- You have completed fewer than 25% of the course lessons (by count)
- You have not downloaded certificate-eligible materials marked as non-refundable
- The request is your first refund for that specific course
Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Stripe refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days; Paystack refunds may take 3–7 business days depending on your bank.
3. What is not refundable
The following are generally not eligible for refunds:
- Courses where more than 25% of lessons have been completed
- Purchases made more than 14 days ago
- Physical hardware kits or components (subject to manufacturer return policies)
- Enterprise or team licenses under separate contractual agreements
- Promotional or heavily discounted bundles, unless required by local law
4. Subscription and pathway plans
If you purchase a subscription or learning pathway plan, you may cancel at any time to prevent future charges. Cancellation stops renewal but does not automatically refund the current billing period unless you are within the 14-day window and have not exceeded the usage threshold above.
5. Technical issues
If you experience a verified technical issue that prevents access to purchased content — such as persistent video playback failures on our platform — contact support before requesting a refund. We will attempt to resolve the issue first. If we cannot restore access within a reasonable timeframe, a full refund will be issued regardless of the 14-day window.
6. How to request a refund
To request a refund:

- Include your account email, course name, order date, and reason for the request.
- Our team will review your eligibility and respond within 2 business days.
7. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks for eligible refund requests may delay resolution for both parties. We will provide payment records to your financial institution when required.
8. Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable law. If local regulations provide greater protection (such as mandatory cooling-off periods), those rights apply.
